Amadeus have developed an innovative new drinking cup, the 360°™, employing a revolutionary valve design. While the mechanics of the valve were devleoped with an eye for easy cleaning, Amadeus chose to incorporate SteriTouch masterbatch into the cup in order to reduce biofilm growth on the internal surfaces.

The unique 360°™ valve has a simple, modular construction, allowing for easy disassembly. However, the function of the valve relies almost entirely on the properties of the material used for the flexible 'lip'. Amadeus had looked at several alternative materials, but SteriTouch masterbatch was the only one which didn't have a negative impact on the performance of the valve.
